Did you notice this in Avatar? I noticed that it's not openly revealed how Tsu'tey knew Jake and Neytiri had mated. Then how did he catch that? Here's several instances that I think is how he figured out what was happening.
1. Jake and Neytiri were flirting and laughing, sending gusts of wind at each other in the flying scene. While Tsu'tey was right there!
2. Everyone's connected to Eywa. And we know Tsu'Tey and Neytiri were previously matched, meant to be coupled. Tsu'Tey probably felt Jake and Neytiri's connection while connecting to Eywa later.
3. In the scene where Tsu'tey and his group come across the bulldozers, you'll see he inhales deeply like he is angry, and also smells something else that just happened there. This was right after Jake and Neytiri slept together in the same spot. And we know the Na'vi have a heightened sense of smell.
4. When Jake is attacked after he and Neytiri walk into Hometree holding hands, Neytiri defends Jake. Tsu'tey obviously figured something was boiling here.
