On its 10th anniversary, this report looks back at the building of Norfolk's iconic Scope arena. While there was much celebration upon its opening in 1971, the arena often found itself struggling financially.

Now nearly 50 years after it first opened, Norfolk and Hampton Roads is looking to build a new modern arena.
