The Gauteng ANC Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) yesterday failed to release the personal protective equipment (PPE) tender report on the fate of those implicated in the controversy.
The meeting has been on going since Saturday to deal with, among other things, the report by the Integrity Commission relating to the multi-million-rand PPE tenders. Those implicated include Gauteng Health MEC Dr Bandile Masuku, his wife Loyiso Masuku, a member of the mayoral committee at the city of Joburg, and presidential spokesperson Khusela Diko. The outcome of the investigation was expected to be announced in a press briefing scheduled for yesterday. It is understood that the discussions deadlocked following disagreements on the outcome of the report that has been found to have inconsistencies. To discuss this were joined by political analyst, Ralph Mathekga. For more news, visit sabcnews.com and also #SABCNews #Coronavirus #COVID19News on Social Media. |
