|
Smit talks about how different devices have been transformed within a duration of time. Smit Sanghrajka is a graduate student from Florida Institute of Technology with his bachelors in mechanical engineering.
Smit has served as the Vice President of international students and scholar services during his time at Florida Tech amongst various other positions in the student government. During his senior year he engaged in a humanitarian outreach project that created a water barrel that filters water as you roll it from your water source to your home using filters made from readily available raw materials in the home country. This project was designed for low income household families and developing nations. Smit is on a mission to educate and inspire youth and local entrepreneurs around Africa to adapt to what he calls the “The Next Industrial Revolution.” This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
