koottathil Oral is a Malayalam Thriller movie. Directed by K Padmakumar. Starring Sidhique, Soja Jolly, Divyadarsan , Rajashree Nair, Sadiq, Chali Pala, Chemban Vinod Jose and others. In this fast generation the technology and life styles has gone high but stil the mobile. But the attitude to women remains unchanged. If we take a look at the news paper we may see many suicide cases of Young girls and woman. Most of the reasons will be a mobile phone, a gilted love afair or spy video.
Yes, with the evolution of technology the mode of eve teasing has got new platforms, with a organized state. A baby girl is now going through a series of so called adventure zone til she grows up and reach into the safe hands of some one. Why? only one answer, the dirty attitude of society. She don't know whom to trust, she don't know how to whom to love. For example even in a mall's dressing room there might a spy cam. These all porn and hot videos are getting a good price in the internet market, and some are doing it for some psychic pleasure.
This movie is a strong message to eve teasing also. Eve teasing must be stopped. Women deserve respect. Men and women are equal. Our lack of consciousness has lead to a loss of many lives. Vismaya who lost her mother in childhood lives with her father Viswam. Viswam is a professionally a Driver and a social activist. From child hood she possessed a very high degree of talent towards the poems and literature. She had her own world of poems. From teenage she had portrayaled many poems and rhymes which brought her the fame. Viswam felt very proud of his daughter. They were got into many social activities and Dharnas against the politician and mafias.This is the central knot of the movie. While days passed she got a state award for her poems. The awards and fame brought enormous amount of joy in to their lives. Things got changed so fast. Movie starts with saying some thing which happened to Vismaya. But it's untold throughout till we reach climax. Followed by the slow pace of story. Viswam was a very kind generous man, he had raised many people.
Divakaran, Velu are some of them. All of them are brought up by Viswam. Tessa who is a journalist has came to take a weekly journal for a press about Vismaya. The flash back has mixed with the current story line without lagging. Darshana became famous and editorials about her started in papers.Meanwhile, Darshan who is a media camera man, meets her while covering a program about her Rhymes. He was a good hearted guy, he felt a crush to her. But in the beginning she think him as a nuisance. But in one occasion he saved he from a bunch of criminals. As usual the love story begined.
But she never lost herself in that love. She asked him to borrow the permission of her father first. This shows a quality which most of the new generation hasn't. When thing all are going well one day, a porn video about Vismaya started to rush in the Internet. Which dislodged the mental equation of his father. But she was bold enough to face it. She fight against it, she don't fall back. Even if it was fake every one was not ready to believe it. But her father came to know that it's real. How ? What will happen to her?
