Trade tensions between the U.S. and China are worsening by the day. The U.S.-China trade war began on July 6, when the two countries slapped a combined US$34 billion worth of new tariffs on imported goods. The trade dispute has sent shock waves across the global economy, including South Korea, for which the U.S. and China account for 40 percent of its total exports. According to research, South Korea has been ranked the 6th most vulnerable country which stands to lose the most from the U.S.-China trade war. It has also had an adverse effect on the ongoing talks over North Korea's denuclearization and a possible agreement to reach a formal end to the Korean War. How much longer will the U.S.-China trade war last for and what will be of its outcome? In this week's edition of "Foreign Correspondents", we sit down with our panel of journalists to discuss all of these issues in more detail.
