Why Musicians Should Use Instagram?
A “big break” is just the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more that goes on beneath the surface. You have to have a schedule of when to release your original music. Once a month, once a week, whatever it is, be consistent.

Instagram is an amazing way to drive traffic away from the platform using swipe ups and links in bio. Drive your audience to your new song releases on Spotify or Soundcloud. A lot of musicians are booking shows and the more followers and engagement they have, the more they get paid. The more streams they have, the more they get paid. It only makes sense.

What type of content should I create?
Music Videos. Imagine if you could combine two senses. Visuals and Music at the same time. It’s game over. That is what a music video is. I understand that music videos that a budget and it is something to definitely save money and invest into.

The obvious answer is to create more music.

Show you. The story is always key to the success of an artist or musician. Where they came from. Their hustle. Show that side of you and connect with your audience at scale.

Similar to the structure of this video, that is how you have to start.

1. Understand why you want to use Instagram to help build your business, Instagram removing likes will only help with this.
2. Know what you are doing everyday anyway and find ways to create content around that.
3. Plan out your content and know why you are making each piece.
4. Have accounts that you want to mimic and copy to a degree. Add your own take to it.
