Web developer, Sitara Emily Shah, shares her insight into the creative process behind coding. By sharing her artistic expertise and way looking at the world, Shah shows that coding can be creative. Sitara is a Front-End Web Developer and Designer. She works at ClearScore, a Fintech startup, where she designs and builds interactive animations to simplify the complexities of finance. With a First class degree in Art & Art History, Sitara is not your typical coder. On leaving university, she worked as a producer in a global creative agency where she was first exposed to digital media as an art form. She then went travelling around Latin America for year in camper van, where she taught herself to code and on returning she enrolled on an intensive coding course. Sitara believes coding is another art medium - a tool for creating visuals with numbers.
