Beginning the Discussion: An Overview of the 2019 Elementary Health & Physical Education Curriculum

video thumbnail
This webinar is intended for elementary educators and will include a discussion on the differences between the 2015 and 2019 Health and Physical Education (H&PE) curriculum.

Together, in partnership with School Mental Health Ontario, this webinar will unpack the changes to the strands and components; discuss the vision and intent and share available and soon-to-be released teaching supports. Social-emotional learning skills and mental health literacy in the context of H&PE will be introduced as a lead up to the next webinar in this series of webinars.

The webinar is presented by Gail Lalonde and Tanya Woods.

This webinar is part of a webinar series to support the 2019 elementary H&PE implementation. Learn more about Ophea’s webinars: https://www.ophea.net/webinars
