Sri Reddy went to protest against alleged sexual harrassment of the film industry relating to casting couch. Though severely criticised, her efforts seem to have paid off as the the National Human Rights Commission has sent a notice to the Telangana government to reply within four weeks after probing the truth behind the allegations and also questioned why it has remained inactive in the matter so far.
