Qatar's Foreign Ministry says mediation efforts on ending the war in the Gaza Strip are ongoing. The World Food Programme says there's little food assistance that has made it beyond southern Gaza. Almost 26 000 people have died in the enclave and over 60 000 people have been injured since the war broke out. Israeli Defence Force says 24 Israeli soldiers have been killed during intense fighting in Gaza in the last 24 hours.
