Welcome to my first look at Planet Coaster! A new game that has some awesome theme park building capabilities! In this episode I take a stab at learning the basics of a theme park in sandbox mode.

I start of this Planet Coaster episode in the sandbox to get a feel for the controls and building dynamics. I start with some basic paths and add a few hat stores, because theme parks are mostly about the hats. But I soon find out that most of my patrons don't seem to think so, despite my expert sales tactics. So I take a look at adding a few of the pre-built rides for them to enjoy as well. I get a hang of how to make rides work and adding entrances and exits.

But we all know why we are really here. Building rollercoasters! I take my first attempt at building a roller coaster with a wooden rollercoaster. And like anyone who's given complete controller over their first rollercoaster, I make it unnecessarily big and impractically intense. The first drop just downright doesn’t make sense! But we get to ride it anyway :P
