Although the heat between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier is palpable, for all the friction between them, Jones insists that he is happy for Cormier to have had a chance to hold the belt that used to belong to him. That certainly sounds odd when there has been such a bitter battle between them, but Jones sounded sincere, especially when he went on to explain what he meant.

And while Jones might be happy for Cormier to wear the belt, he still doesn't like his rival, and fully intends to take the belt back.

Jones first must get past Ovince Saint Preux at UFC 197 on April 23, 2016, in Las Vegas.
