Language has shaped Celin’s life from speaking Spanish with her family members as she grew up in Cuba to learning English when she moved to America. Colin examines languages in relation to history as well as other langauges. Celin Hidalgo is a current senior studying Astrophysics, Art History, and Mathematics, with plans to pursue her PhD in the Astrophysical Sciences upon graduation. Celin is a proud Cuban immigrant, and is passionate about issues of identity for Latinx and Hispanic communities.
