This book was packed full of lessons great lessons about creating emotions in your readers hearts. And since reader enjoyment is strongly related to how books make them feel, these lessons are vital for all of us.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading The Emotional Craft of Fiction by Donald Maas. It did get a bit fluffy at times, but the lessons I extracted from this book more than made up for the time I spent reading fluffier parts.
