In this presentation, he talks about a couple of big ideas in computer assisted surgery, and his career path alongside.

Costa Nikou grew up in the Pittsburgh area, had a early obsession with Activision's Pitfall, which steered him toward an education in Computer Science and Robotics, and a career in Computer-Assisted Surgery. Costa is the the Director of Software Development at the former Blue Belt Technologies, now Smith and Nephew Robotics.
