Improved with Software 1.10 | 2022 Volvo XC40 Recharge Ultimate Winter Review |
|
It wasn't long ago that we first drove the 2022 Volvo XC40 Recharge, the first full electric under the Volvo brand. This vehicle has gotten some software updates and we're testing it in the winter.
This video was made possible with the support of Elmec and their EVduty Smart Home Charger. You can schedule, control access, and even see your estimated charging costs from the EVduty smartphone app. Use public charging stations and grant access to your own all from the app. For more information about the EVduty Smart Home Charger visit: https://www.elmec.ca/language/en/ We drove the 2022 Volvo XC40 Recharge Ultimate back in November 2021 and discussed our impressions of this subcompact luxury crossover and some of the reasons why you'd be considering it as your next Electric Vehicle. That specific car we drove was running the software version 1.6, we're now running 1.10 with some important improvements like a native SiriusXM app and Volvo's Range app. Other safety technology has been tweaked along with some new features for 2021 Model Years, along with improvements to the traction control. We go over the way this vehicle was configured and then take it on the road to discuss how this 2022 Volvo XC40 Recharge Ultimate performed in the winter and how our opinions of this vehicle might have changed over the past several months.
