Facebook ads are VERY different for local businesses compared to ecommerce/online businesses. In this video, we're going to cover everything I've learned from spending tens of thousands of dollars on Facebook ads for local businesses (mostly orthodontists) since September of 2018.

Here's what we cover:

1. Asking the right question - It's not JUST about facebook ads. It's about good marketing.
2. Local business ads are very different than ecommerce ads or any other type of ads you run on facebook
3. Facebook ads run on the exact same platform as instagram ads. Don't get the two confused
4. Focus on getting some results from your page organically before you try to run paid ads
5. Put the customer first
6. The Medium is very different than the message you send it through.

Next we discuss the facebook algorithm! Understanding the algorithm is crucial to having successful campaigns.

After this we go through:
1. The campaign level of your facebook ad (This is the behavioral targeting)
2. The adset level of your facebook ad (This is the geo targeting)
3. The ad level of your facebook ad (This is the creative)

Getting the targeting right is just part of the puzzle. All of the other things we discuss in this video are an important part of creating a successful facebook marketing campaign.
