April 16, 2003 - At half time of their season finale against the Toronto Raptors, the Cleveland Cavaliers revealed a new look for the 2003-04 season. Following an era in which powder blue took center stage, Cleveland opted to return to a more franchise traditional wine and gold. ESPN provided the first nationwide look at the jersey design donned by future No. 1 draft pick LeBron James.

As an aside, the Cleveland Cavaliers won their season finalè on the heels of a 17-point performance from Smush Parker, overcoming a Raptors team that started Chris Jefferies and Mamamou N'Diaye and brought just two players over the bench (Michael Bradley and Jelani McCoy). The Cavs' win and Nuggets loss meant both teams had the same odds of landing the 2003 NBA Draft Lottery's No. 1 pick. The Cavs ultimately won the top selection anyway, selecting LeBron James.
