This role involves editing BBC Radio 4's File on 4 as well as other investigative programmes and documentaries. An Editor for this strand needs to be a seasoned journalist - delivering new angles and original insights for their audience.

Managing a small team of team of producers and freelance reporters, their job is to select stories and make sure the final programme stays within BBC Editorial Guidelines and the law. The Editor holds full responsibility for budget and staffing decisions.

This job offers the opportunity to reveal stories in the public interest across areas such as politics, foreign policy, health, business, society and education making the role demanding but vastly rewarding.
