video thumbnail
This speech is about the limits of human potential in different fields of life. With an intense concentration, people can achieve more success than they think, in any area that they have an interest in. The Flow Theory, which is the exact definition of this hyper focus state, is explained in depth in this performance with examples and clues about how we can maintain this high level of concentration and accomplish greater things. Ezgi Uyar is a 12th grade student in ALKEV High School in İstanbul. She is very impressed by the effects of psychology on human life, especially by the positive effects on human performance in real life tasks. In her speech, Ezgi provides a detailed overview of the "Flow Theory" by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi and discuss the permanence of this state. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
