A Ukrainian Leopard tank blasted Russian trenches during a battle in the south. First-person footage revealed a fierce firefight near the town of Robotyne. The video was captured by soldiers of Ukraine’s 47th ‘Magura’ Brigade. It begins with Ukrainian troops running into a trench for cover. As bullets crackle around them and artillery shells explode in the distance. Then a Leopard tank comes into view, with its gun pointed at a nearby tree-line. Gunfire erupts, indicating there are Russian troops hidden in the trees. The tank then opens fire with its cannon, to cheers from the Ukrainians. It fires into the trees multiple times, hoping to weaken the Russian defences. The battle took place to the south of Robotyne, where Ukraine is advancing. Troops have broken Russia’s first line of defence and are attacking the second. Minefields which slowed the initial attack are less dense in this area.
