His Holiness the Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje will lead the day 4 prayers: བཟང་སྤྱོད་སྨོན་ལམ་དང་། ཕུང་པོ་གསུམ་པའི་མདོ། The Noble Aspiration for Excellent Conduct & The Sutra in Three Sections. The coronavirus pandemic has created great misfortune throughout the entire world. These prayers are to avert adversity and serve the needs of the living and deceased and to be recited during a worldwide service where male and female dharma practitioners pray for the epidemic to subside and for everyone living or deceased to find happiness.

His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, is the head of the 900-year-old Karma Kagyu Lineage and guide to millions of Buddhists around the world.

Born in 1985, the Karmapa resides in his temporary home at Gyuto Monastery in India after making a dramatic escape from Tibet in the year 2000.
