Gentle parenting | Heng Serey Roth HOR | TEDxRUPP

video thumbnail
The talk aims to educate new generations of parents that they don’t have to shout, hit, or scold their children to raise them well. Parenting should be about communication, strong connection, and unconditional love between parents and children. Serey Roth is a freshman in Bachelor of Law at the Royal University of Law and Economics, and Bachelor of English at the Institute of Foreign Languages. Throughout high school, she’s been participating in a few local and international debate competitions, where she gets to see many societal issues that need to be solved, from individual to international level. This sparks a fire in her to pursue a law degree and aspire to be a lawyer. She co-founded Khemara English Debate Society, where she trains kids in debating and sends them to local and international competitions. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
