A court in the US state of Texas is mulling over whether a commonly used abortion pill should be available after a group argued the drug's safety was never properly examined. The ruling could see women nationwide unable to buy one of the few remaining options to end a pregnancy since Roe v. Wade was overturned, with many states subsequently introducing harsh restrictions around terminations. Human Rights Lawyer Julie F. Kay tells The World it’s “a political stunt”.
