Veteran news anchor Don Lemon was stunned after learning CNN fired him. "After 17 years at CNN, I would have thought that someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly," Lemon tweeted. However, CNN fired back at the popular journalist, calling his statement inaccurate. They say Lemon was offered an opportunity to meet with management but released a Twitter statement instead.
