US Nobel Prize winner John Nash has died in car crash along with his wife Alicia.

The mathematician whose life story was turned into the Oscar-winning film 'A Beautiful Mind' was travelling in a taxi in New Jersey when the accident happened.

Actor Russell Crowe, who played Nash in the movement said the couple were "An amazing partnership. Beautiful heats, beautiful minds."
