American Brandon McNulty won a thrilling three-way sprint against Ireland’s Ben Healy and Italy’s Marco Frigo to take the "mini Lombardia" Stage 15 in Bergamo after a large 17-man breakaway went the distance in the sunshine of northern Italy. Frenchman Bruno Armirail lost touch with the GC favourites in the closing moments but retained the pink jersey ahead of Monday’s second rest day.
