The OECD's Education at a Glance is the leading international compendium of comparable national statistics measuring the state of education worldwide.

The Education Policy Institute has partnered with the OECD to host the global launch of the 2017 report in London.

Education at a Glance addresses public and private spending on education; its social and economic benefits for people and economies; the outcomes of education based on an analysis of tertiary completion rates; and class sizes, teacher salaries and instruction times.

This year’s report also for the first time assesses countries' progress with education targets from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as presenting a new focus on fields of study, investigating both trends in enrolment at upper secondary and tertiary level, student mobility, and labour market outcomes of the qualifications obtained in these fields.

The report analyses the education systems of the 35 OECD member countries, as well as Argentina, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Lithuania, the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
