Learning objectives include:​
1. Discuss risk factors and pathogenesis of celiac disease to help families understand the disease to enhance outcomes for the patient and other family members
2. Recognize the various presentation signs and symptoms including classic celiac as well as other more subtle modes of presentation evident today
3. Identify patients with celiac disease by interpretation of serological testing and timely referral for endoscope.
4. Manage patients with celiac disease using diet, while being vigilant to lack of response and complications of poorly managed celiac disease and associated disorders​
