Are you getting eating protein every day during #pregnancy ?
Nutrition is so important during pregnancy to aid in fueling your body and helping your baby grow. The food you put into your body every single day can make a huge difference to your physical health but also your #mentalhealth and energy levels. Did you know that during pregnancy, you should be aiming to hit a daily protein goal of 80-100g of protein? That is probably more than you have eaten ever (and it’s okay if you’re not meeting it right now). It’s hard. I don’t know about you but during my pregnancies, I struggled to hit my daily goals because I got so tired of eating so much meat to get my protein up. It got boring (and expensive) pretty quickly. I had to find more variety to my diet to remain healthy but also get enough protein. Did you know that if you’re feeling sluggish or tired (outside of the normal #firsttrimester symptoms), that might be your body telling you that your not eating enough protein or you might be #anemic? Crazy how the body works! Eating more protein shouldn’t break your budget or brain to do it. Here are some easy and high protein options from one of my favorite places to shop, @aldiusa 🤍.
