Berklee College of Music received UPCEA's 2015 Strategic Innovation in Online Education Award. This award recognizes an institution of higher education that has set and met innovative goals focused on online education and been strategic in the planning, development, implementation and sustainability in line with the institutional mission.

In this video, Berklee president Roger Brown accepts the award and explains Berklee's "wedding cake" strategy bringing quality music education to musicians worldwide via massive open online courses (MOOCs), the online school, and Berklee's physical campuses in Boston, Massachusetts and Valencia, Spain.
