History of the name teddy bear is very interesting. The toy name Teddy Bear derived from former United States President Theodore Roosevelt, who was popularly known as "Teddy". This name was created from a particular incident happened in the year 1902 at Missippi , a State of America . One day Roosevelt, former President of USA went to hunting. The attendants of Roosevelt, catched an American black bear and tied it in a tree with hounds.
