The Veteran Director Bharathi Raja has started a film school which is named as “Bharathi Raja International Institute of Cinema (BRIIC)”. Rajinikanth and Kamal launched the film Institute. Cheran while speaking said that only few good cinemas were filmed in the recent times due to untrained professionals. Parthiban says that Bharathiraja has started the Institute very late.
