This video is a departure from my many years of knitting content. It's a ZOOM presentation I gave to my small island community on February 17, 2022, in honor of American Heart Month. It was sponsored by The Marrowstone Island Foundation (MIF, of which I'm the secretary).
Heart disease kills, on average, 10 times as many women as breast cancer every year. It is the number one killer of women in the United States and the developed world and I want to help women understand their risks and help them take steps to protect their heart health. I'm a Mayo-Clinic trained women's heart health advocate, (maybe) heart attack survivor, CABGx3, and teacher.
