Chairman of the Hungarian Bocuse dOr Academy The main task the Hungarian Bocuse dOr Academy as after the foundation of the Bocuse d´Or Academy- is to organize the Bocuse dOr contests in Hungary. This includes the organisation of the national contest, select the Hungarian participants and their preparation as well. The Hungarian Bocuse dOr Academy the worthy representative of the Bocuse d´Or name shall promote the traditions of the Hungarian gastronomy, the promotion of the Hungarian products, demonstrate the newest technology trends in the gastronomy and organize gastronomy programs. The aim is to introduce the Bocuse dOr spirit in Hungary, for the sake of improvement in the art of gastronomy. The Bocuse dOr with more then two decades of history has conquered first Europe and later the world with its competition system, whereby the contender does the work within a given time in front of the worlds most renowned chef judges. The highlight of this live contest of course is the tasting. Today more then 50 countries participate in the Bocuse dOr competitions. The feedback of the contest can be compared to the Oscar award night as more then 2000 journalist are attending. |
