Kim Kardashian first talked about her outfit for Access Hollywood. Then, the star hinted that her presence at the Met Gala 2022 would depend on whether or not she could fit into her dress.

"I think it will be known at the very last minute because this dress can't be altered to individual measurements, so I have to fit into it," Kim Kardashian said.

Marilyn Monroe's outfit was once the first "nude" dress of that kind, which the Jean Louis brand created for the star based on a sketch by legendary American fashion designer Bob Mackie. Then, to achieve the desired "revealing" effect, the dress had to be stitched right on the actress.
