Bowflex C6 vs Peloton
There are several bikes on the market that provide excellent, affordable alternatives to the Peloton bike. The C6 exercise bike by Bowflex offers a very similar design to the Peloton with 100 magnetic resistance levels, a sleek red and black frame, weighted flywheel, adjustable seat and handlebars and included hand weights. The main difference between the two is the Bowflex C6 has a tablet holder and is Bluetooth enabled so it will sync with any number of fitness apps, including Peloton Digital. By comparison, the Peloton bike has an attached 22” touchscreen that will only display Peloton content, you don’t have the option to run any other apps or view the web on the Peloton screen. The Peloton bike is currently priced at $1895 (add more for shoes, weights and a mat) and requires a $38/month subscription. Whereas the Bowflex C6 bike is currently being offered at $1000 with no required subscription. You can use any number of fitness or cycling apps on your personal tablet to use on the Bowflex C6 including Peloton’s digital app for just $13/month.
