Krishnadhwani is music that evokes Lord Krishna and his divine flute. This album comprises a collection of live recordings by the greatest living flautist, Hariprasad Chaurasia, performing traditional ragas. Raga Des is one such ragas and belongs to the Khamaj thaat. The musical compositions in this Raag bear the Shadja-Pancham (S-P) and Shadja-Madhyam (S-m) Bhava and therefore very pleasing and essentially melodic.
