We follow patient Terry - a tailor - as he undergoes a partial knee replacement at the RNOH. Consultant orthopaedic surgeon Mr Panos Gikas explains what was wrong with Terry's knee and how he used the Stryker Mako surgical robotic arm to deliver precise bone cuts and placement of the implant using data measurements specific to the unique anatomy of Terry. This increased accuracy allows for faster recovery and longer lasting implants giving improved quality of life, less pain and reduced chances of revision.
