No Casualties Reported in Xinjiang under Effect of Earthquake Hitting Tajikistan |

No casualties reported in northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit Tajikistan at 3:50 pm on Monday.
People in Xinjiang felt the temblor rocked the region for about 1 and half minutes and local PLA commanders immediately evacuated staff from barracks. According to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), the epicenter was monitored at 38.2 degrees north latitude and 72.9 degrees east longitude and the quake struck at a depth of 30 km. Another earthquake measured at 4.6-magnitude hit Tajikistan at 4:24 pm of Beijing time.
