Duel: Robert the Bruce vs. Prince Edward (Outlaw King, 2018) |
|
Outlaw King is great at historical accuracy and it's even greater when we talk about camera shots, scene designs and of course, wars and battles. But in this scene, we see somewhat of a little fiction, to portray the boiling hate and rivalry between Robert the Bruce (son of Robert the Bruce, son of, you guessed it, Robert the Bruce) and English Prince Edward. It's like the first moment two friends, who grew up together, finding out they can no longer be friends...
Before both of these young men can lay their hands on their respective crowns, they show off their dueling skills. As both will have their fair share of struggles in themselves, their families and kingdoms, these two young gentlemen will square off one more time as the movie lays the stones for that final duel... If you haven't watched it yet, Outlaw King is a MUST-WATCH for war movie fans and especially mediveal Scotland enthusiasts! --- IMDB LINK: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6679794/ LEGAL DISCLAIMER All music, art and footage belong to their respective owners, this is just fair use.
