About JJ Totah:

J.J. Totah, bay area native, can be seen as the fan favorite 'Stuart' on the hit Disney channel series "Jessie".

It didn't take long for Totah to discover his true calling for entertainment, and at the age of thirteen, he has already experienced success in the industry. Totah picked up theater acting at the age of two when he saw his older sister perform on stage. By the age of nine, he had acted in numerous local theater productions in his California hometown including "Beauty and the Beast," "Seussical the Musical," "Pinocchio," "Aladdin," and "Mulan." He reached audiences beyond his local theater group by sharing his comedic talents on his YouTube channel. After moving to Los Angeles at the age of ten, Totah began performing stand-up comedy at the Hollywood Improv and has taken his act to Las Vegas. He starred in "The Lil' Dictator" for Awesomeness TV but soon moved on to television projects. He could be seen in the ABC Comedy "Back in the Game" with James Caan and Maggie Lawson as the stand out role of 'Michael.' Most recently he guest starred on CBS' "2 Broke Girls," Fox's "New Girl" and TV Land's "The Exes." He could also be heard in the Disney animated series "Sofia the First," and Disney's "Nina Needs to Go."

Totah grew up in Davis, California, with an older sister and older brother. He holds the organization Autism Speaks close to his heart as his brother was diagnosed with autism. For the past six years, Totah's family has been active in the organization, including participating in fundraising walks and serving on the board. He also serves as a young voice for victims of bullying; participating in anti-bullying PSA with Betty DeGeneres (Ellen DeGeneres' mom) focusing on protecting students by implementing stricter school laws, filming a PSA for GLAAD Spirit Day and showing his support for GLSEN, an organization that empowers LGBT and straight youth to work together to make their schools safer for all students and to end bullying of all kinds. He loves studying languages (Latin and French), special effects makeup, and fashion. He also enjoys writing scripts and filming movies with friends, and some of his work can be seen on his personal YouTube channel. Totah hopes to be on the production side of film and have his own fashion line one day. His true passion lies in surprising his audience and bringing the unexpected. Totah gets a great sense of joy and pleasure in making others laugh.
