Senior Editor Telakapalli Ravi comments on the an India Today-CVoter Mood of the Nation poll, the majority of respondents, 54 percent, believe that the opposition alliance in India (known as INDIA - Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) will not be able to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. On the other hand, 33 percent of respondents believe that the alliance can defeat the BJP, while the remaining respondents were undecided. Regarding the impact of the alliance's name change on drawing votes, 39 percent of respondents believe that the name change will attract votes for the India alliance, while 30 percent disagree with this notion.
