A section of transporters in Mombasa County is up in arms over what they termed as a betrayal by Coast MPs.
The transporters have vowed to mobilize residents to recall all MPs from Mombasa who are opposed to the motion by Nyali MP Mohamed Ali to impeach Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia.
The transport stakeholders have faulted Kisauni Mp Ali Mbogo and his Likoni counterpart Mishi Mboko, both of who openly revolted against Nyali Mp saying he is only keen to cause trouble.
Mr. Fahmi Ahmed, a transporter, labeled the two MPs as traitors, saying they are only interested in their stomachs.
Youth activist Miraj Abdillahi said Mr. Mbogo and Ms. Mboko should be recalled because they no longer represent the people who voted for them.
