"It's intense. I'm in training right now. Yeah, I was working with someone in L.A. over the summer and I've moved out here and am trying to put in many hours to get - it's a lot of core strength, a lot of stretching mainly right now. Nothing uber specific. They don't want to pigeonhole you into one specific dance. But I've got some athleticism and sort of see where I take it to where it goes. And Kenny's (Ortega) brilliant at creating that chorography and that feel that needs to be there. So I'm trusting them, trusting guy, and just giving it my 110 percent and kind of seeing where it goes."

"It's a good question you know because, it was one of those things where I was working with them a lot. I was working with him a lot in L.A. and he would come in and really tell me how the show was going, how things were going. And to see the fire in his eyes about that, really� I grew up a fan of Michael and it was definitely a different experience having it happen so close. And I was going to go check out the show. It was obviously devastating."

CHACE CRAWFORD HAS A WII BIT OF FUN; SPEAKS ABOUT JACKSON DIRECTOR KENNY ORTEGA
"Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford helped launch the new Wii Sports Resort video game Thursday (JULY 23) in New York's Times Square.
He joined Wii fans for some fun and games on Manhattan's Military Island which was covered in sand and decorated with palm trees for the event.
Crawford boasted his Wii abilities and said his most of his cast-mates couldn't hold a candle to his gaming skills:
"Blake's (Lively) got some game. I would take the cake though. Yeah. I take all their money from time to time," he joked.
Crawford is slated to star in a remake of the 1984 film "Footloose," which made Kevin Bacon a heartthrob. He'll play Ren McCormack, the bad boy in a small town who brings everyone together with his daring moves. He says preparing for the role has been "intense."
Kenny Ortega, the mastermind behind the "High School Musical" movies, will direct "Footloose."
