Anxiety sufferers are also twice as likely to have a co-occurring addiction disorder. This educational and thought provoking webinar will answer the question of what anxiety is, what works, and why. ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Christopher Hastings, MA, LSPE Director of Outpatient Services – Foundations Nashville Christopher Hastings joined the Foundations Nashville team as director of outpatient services in early 2014. Prior to arriving at Foundations, Hastings served as a psychological examiner at Woodland Hills Youth Development Center, a residential correctional facility that provides treatment programs for teens, where he was responsible for conducting various assessments. He has also held a variety of clinical and administrative positions, working for Universal Health Services for a decade in their residential programs. With more than 14 years in treatment, diagnostics and assessment experience, Hastings strives to provide innovative and unique treatment solutions. A native of Alabama and East Tennessee, Hastings moved to the Nashville area in 1994 for school. He studied clinical psychology at Middle Tennessee State University, where he obtained both his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He holds a professional license as a psychological examiner from the State of Tennessee and eventually became one of the youngest senior psychological examiners in the state. In his free time, Hastings enjoys photography, and his work has been displayed locally. He also volunteers for a nonprofit charity group where participants dress up as superheroes to entertain kids at hospitals and local events. |
