Beginning her teaching practice in 2007, Melanie Doane has taught thousands of students through her expanded Program which now includes online lessons, public performances and studio recordings with professional mentors

Our entirely made-in-Canada classroom method by J. Chalmers Doane, has been used in school boards across Canada and around the world since the late 1960's

Students have performed at numerous high profile events, with Sarah McLachlan, Barenaked Ladies, Emilie-Claire Barlow, astronaut Chris Hadfield (via satellite link to the International Space Station), as part of the Pan Am Games, Luminato, CBC Music Festival, Margaret Atwood’s 75 birthday, on CBC radio/television and TVO.
