Hello teachers!

This is the best time of the year to take the opportunity to earn extra cash during your down time. 51Talk is looking for people with any college degree to teach our young students! Lessons are already created, just bring your expertise and fun personality!

Typical working hours are USA mornings (aka Beijing time evenings) or any time during the weekend. You have the freedom to open a class whenever you are free. You may teach group or 1 on 1 classes. Pay is USD 7.50 for a 25 minute class or USD 18 for a 45 min class (and there are bonuses!)

Here Are Our Basic Requirements:
Must have College Degree or a be a College Student
Preferably with teaching certifications such as LET, TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, TKT, but not required

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?

-A laptop or desktop computer with a wired internet connection (Wifi is OK if no persistent problems).
Windows 7 or above./MAC
--At least 60GB free hard disk space available, (not necessary, but space is needed for company software).

*OS - windows 7 and up
*Processor - Dual core with not lower that 1700 bench mark score (Recommended at least an i3 4th gen.)
*Memory (RAM) - 2GB but 4GB (or more) recommended
*Hard Drive - At least 50GB free space

-A noise-cancelling headset & a webcam, HD preferred so students can clearly see the teacher.
-A quiet, clutter-free, and well-lit space in your home.



Job Description:
As a 51Talk Teacher, You Will:
Prepare and study the company-provided teaching materials before the lesson starts.
Provide corrective feedback during the lesson.
Create a lesson memo at the end of each lesson.
