This hand-edited time-lapse movie documents construction progress from February 2011 to August 2013 for BrightSource Energy's Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System (ISEGS) in California. The ISEGS is the largest commercial scale solar thermal project in the world and is expected to generate 392-megawatts, enough to serve more than 140,000 homes in California during the peak hours of the day.
